What is our National Square Dance Convention?
- It’s a feast of Square Dancing spread over 5 days, with Round Dancing and Clogging as well
- A Trail In dance on the Thursday evening starts the ball rolling - your first chance to meet your fellow dancers
- A Trail Out theme night on Monday concludes the festivities - our theme is of course “Come to the Cabaret”, an evening not to be missed! Come in cabaret outfits, or in the theme colours of red and black
- In between there is a whole lot of dancing and socialising - meet old friends, make new ones from South Australia, interstate and overseas
- There’s a festive mood over the 5 days - time to chat and relax and get in as much dancing as you want
- The dressed set parade will be the largest that Adelaide has seen since the last National here in 2007 - make sure you’re there! Remember, Nationals only come to South Australia every 7 or 8 years
- It’s a great opportunity for you to go to a National Convention without the larger travel costs of going interstate
How do I get a Registration Form?
- A number of Registration forms will be sent to each club in South Australia after this year’s Convention in Canberra in April. Ask your caller or club rep or committee for one
- Registration forms will also be available from Wednesday 23rd April 2014 from our website www.adelaide2015.com. Just go to the Registration page to download one
- Our Registrations Officer is Jan Stephens. You can contact her or talk to any National Committee member. Keep an eye out for our new badges!
